Motuke Katanda is a UK change-maker whose background career is in Social Care. She graduated from the University of Luton in the UK and then pursued professional courses in economics and business administration in the UK; and attended short courses in entrepreneurship at Open University in the UK.
Motuke is active in advocacy, economic empowerment & development, and capacity building for community-based groups. She organizes learning platforms on community issues.
After working for over five years with different organizations and as an independent consultant, Motuke decided to zero-in in on entrepreneurship and community development programmes. She plans to reallocate her settlement from London to Kinshasa, DRC, to start investing in agriculture with community economic empowerment in mind. Her main crops dealing with are fruits and vegetables.
Motuke has always had a great love for orphans, widows and the elderlies, participating as a foster parent for many orphans in Kinshasa and volunteering with various programmes to help the welfare of orphans, widows and widows and the elderlies. After connecting her love for orphans, widows and the elderlies with her food choices, she opened her heart to both suffering and compassion in the world and connected the choices we make to a more blessed and blissed life. She realized one person’s power to impact the world and thus teamed up with Mamy Makanzu Zozo to create Mamy Show Foundation. Motuke is also extremely committed and dedicated to her career as Vice President of a literacy curriculum company and children’s book distributor in London. She feels a deep connection with empowering youth to be readers and writers in the world while empowering them to change the world.
