Providing peer-to-peer emotional and practical support to ALL widowed people –married or not, with or without children, including sexual orientation, gender, race and religion.
From picnics to meals out, help beneficiaries to attend lively social groups that meet up throughout the year.
Providing community support services based on identified needs to the most vulnerable people
Visiting the less privileged, the aged, the widows and orphans in inner cities and most deprived areas, providing them with free food, water, food items, clothes, medical and financial support, as the case may be.
Empowering the less privileged, orphans and widows in the cities and rural communities to become resourceful.
Conducting innovative research on issues affecting community development and social welfare, especially to the aged, widows and orphans, and social justice, including human rights abuse.
Visiting the aged, widows, orphans and less privileged people
Organising seminars and workshops to reduce social isolation and enable them to use their time positively to develop self-confidence, self-care, and helpful coping strategies to improve mental health and well-being, including self-belief.
Visiting rehabilitation centres, counselling and providing reorientation programmes.
Organising crusade.
Organising Widows conference.
School and hospital visitation
Peer support and befriending (widows group, orphans’ club, older people’s club, etc.)
Organising parties and hosting the widows, orphans and older people to make them happy (put a smile on their faces) and give them a sense of belonging or invite them to celebrate with them in local social events (e.g. celebrity, talent shows, music, comedy, film making, acting, etc.).
Food bank services
Buddy services keep lonely and elderly people company
Cleaning services for people that are struggling (elderly)
Supporting people who are deaf or hard of hearing and blind
House Sitting
Supporting and helping young mothers get back to work
Helping older people back into home life when out of hospital
Escorting and supporting people with appointments
Supporting people and accompanying them on shopping and bank trips

Supporting with benefits etc., forms going to the council
