He lives in the NGIRINGIRI neighbourhood, Kinshasa.

In 2021, his father suffered a fatal heart attack, leaving Nestor, his mother (Pascaline Omoni) and his sister (Zaina) to look after each other.

The family suffered financial hardship without their sole breadwinner, and with no regular source of income, Nestor’s mother, Pascaline, could not afford to send her children to school.

The family’s household status declined, and her health deteriorated as they became isolated from social gatherings and celebrations.
