44 Years Old

Adeline

Adeline is the mother of 4 children and lives in Halesowen, West Midlands, UK.

Adeline’s husband passed away in 2020 from Covid-19; after this, she became a widow, and her children became orphans.

Because of the high rise in the cost of living, Adeline struggled to provide food. Her weekly income is insufficient to carry the family through a week and pay all bills.

They live in a tiny flat, with only two small rooms between them and deplorable living conditions.

Adeline juggles caring for her children, trying to make a living from petty trade, and selling fruit at the market stalls. Sometimes, she has to go without them so that they can eat.

Thanks to the food parcels from Mamy Show Foundation, all of this has changed…

Now that Adeline receives weekly support and food from Mamy Show Foundation, she has been given peace of mind.

She’s no longer pressured to provide the basics for her sons and daughters. The delivery of food parcels is consistent each week, and she can now concentrate on earning to put her family through education and is feeling happier and healthier herself.

She has said it’s ‘heart-warming’ to receive support and that she enjoys the variety of ingredients provided in the parcels.
